Day 1 – Chennai – Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry
Pickup from Chennai and proceed to Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO heritage town famous for its rock-cut architecture. Visit the iconic Shore Temple, Five Rathas and Arjuna’s Penance. Later, drive to Pondicherry. Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram and relax at Promenade Beach. Overnight stay at Pondicherry.
Day 2 – Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Kumbakonam – Tanjore
After breakfast, proceed to Chidambaram to visit the sacred Nataraja Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva in cosmic dance form. Continue to Kumbakonam, known as the “Temple Town.” Later arrive at Thanjavur and visit the magnificent Brihadeeswarar Temple (Big Temple). Overnight stay at Tanjore.
Day 3 – Tanjore – Rameswaram
After breakfast, travel to Rameswaram, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Visit the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple, famous for its long temple corridors and 22 holy theerthams. Visit Agni Theertham and witness the iconic Pamban Bridge. Overnight stay at Rameswaram.
Day 4 – Rameswaram – Kanyakumari
After darshan, proceed to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Enjoy the spectacular sunset view where three oceans meet. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
Day 5 – Kanyakumari – Suchindrum – Madurai
Morning sunrise view at Kanyakumari. Proceed to Suchindram and visit Thanumalayan Temple. Continue to Madurai and visit the grand Meenakshi Amman Temple and Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace. Overnight stay at Madurai.
Day 6 – Madurai – Palani – Tiruchirappalli
After breakfast, proceed to Palani to visit Dhandayuthapani Temple, one of the six abodes of Lord Murugan. Later drive to Tiruchirappalli. Visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple and Rockfort Temple. Overnight stay at Trichy.
Day 7 – Tiruchirappalli – Thiruvannamalai – Kanchipuram
After breakfast, proceed to Tiruvannamalai and visit Arunachaleswarar Temple, one of the Pancha Bhoota Sthalams (Fire element). Later drive to Kanchipuram, the City of Thousand Temples. Visit Kamakshi Amman Temple and Ekambareswarar Temple. Overnight stay at Kanchipuram.
Day 8 – Kanchipuram – Thiruttani – Chennai
After breakfast, proceed to Thiruttani and visit Subramanya Swamy Temple, one of the Arupadai Veedu temples of Lord Murugan. Later drive back to Chennai for drop.
