Day 1 Arrival in Almaty
Upon landing at Almaty International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative holding a placard for easy identification. After the meet and greet, you will be escorted to your private vehicle for a smooth and comfortable transfer to the hotel. During the drive, the guide will provide a short introduction to Almaty, its cultural highlights, and the experiences awaiting you. Once at the hotel, assistance will be provided with the check-in formalities. The rest of the day is free for leisure. You may rest after your journey or take a short walk around the neighborhood to get a feel of the city.
Day 2 Almaty City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, your full-day city tour begins.
Start with a visit to Panfilov Park, one of the oldest and most beautiful parks in Almaty, followed by the architectural masterpiece Zenkov Cathedral, built entirely of wood without using a single nail.
Continue to Republic Square, a major historical landmark featuring the Independence Monument and impressive city architecture. Next, visit the Central State Museum, home to extensive exhibits showcasing Kazakhstan’s rich history, traditions, and heritage. Later, explore Arbat Street, a vibrant pedestrian zone known for local artists, street performances, souvenir shops, and cafés. After dinner, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 Shymbulak SKI RESORT & Medeu Tour
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for an exciting day in the mountains.
Begin with a visit to the world-famous Medeu Ice Skating Rink, located in a picturesque valley surrounded by the Zailiyskiy Alatau mountains. Enjoy the fresh mountain air, scenic views, and photography spots.
From Medeu, take the cable car to Shymbulak Ski Resort, a major attraction in Almaty known for its alpine beauty and adventure activities. At Shymbulak, you may relax at the outdoor cafés, explore the resort village, ride the second cable car to Talgar Pass (3,200 meters) for breathtaking panoramic views, or participate in seasonal activities such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, or nature walks. In the evening, there is an optional stop at Dostyk Plaza, a modern shopping mall with international brands and dining options.
After dinner, you will be transferred back to the hotel.
Day 4: Green Bazaar, Rahat Chocolate & Kok Tobe
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the lively Green Bazaar, a local market known for authentic Kazakh products, fresh fruits, spices, nuts, dried fruits, and handmade goods. This is an excellent place to experience local culture and purchase souvenirs. Next, visit the Rahat Chocolate Factory Outlet, where you can shop for popular chocolates, sweets, and confectionery items unique to Kazakhstan. After lunch, proceed to Kok Tobe Hill, a stunning viewpoint offering panoramic views of Almaty. Reach the hilltop via a scenic cable car ride or taxi. Explore the attractions, observation deck, small amusement area, craft shops, and photo spots.
After enjoying the serene atmosphere at Kok Tobe, return to the city for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Departure from Almaty
