Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Ahmedabad
Arrive in Ahmedabad in the morning and check in to your hotel. After refreshment, begin your sightseeing with a visit to Gandhi Ashram, a serene and historically significant place that preserves the memory of Mahatma Gandhi’s life and works. Continue to the magnificent Adalaj Stepwell, showcasing Indo-Islamic architecture. Later, explore the grand Akshardham Temple, known for its spiritual aura and intricate carvings. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

Day 2: Ahmedabad – Matrugaya – Patan – Modhera – Ahmedabad
After an early breakfast, depart for Matrugaya, a sacred site near Siddhpur known for ancestral rituals. Continue to Patan to visit the world-famous Rani ki Vav, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India’s most exquisite stepwells. From there, head to Modhera to explore the ancient Sun Temple, dedicated to Surya and renowned for its majestic Chalukyan architecture. In the evening, return to Ahmedabad for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ahmedabad – Vadodara (90 km / 2 hrs)
Post breakfast, check out and drive to Vadodara. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Begin your Vadodara city tour with a visit to Lakshmi Vilas Palace, an opulent royal residence four times the size of Buckingham Palace. Visit the impressive Golden Statue of Lord Shiva at Sur Sagar Lake, and take a peaceful walk in Sayaji Baugh, a lush garden that also houses a museum and zoo. Overnight stay will be in Vadodara.

Day 4: Vadodara – Statue of Unity – Vadodara (Day Excursion)
After breakfast, drive to Kevadiya to visit the Statue of Unity, the tallest statue in the world standing at 182 meters. Explore the Sardar Sarovar Dam and the beautifully landscaped Valley of Flowers. Visit the Viewing Gallery at the statue complex and enjoy the Light and Sound Show in the evening. Conclude your day by witnessing the Narmada Aarti before returning to Vadodara. Overnight stay in Vadodara.

Day 5: Departure from Vadodara / Ahmedabad
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. You will be dropped off at Vadodara or Ahmedabad airport/railway station as per your schedule. The tour concludes with wonderful memories of Gujarat’s cultural and historical richness.
