Day 1: Arrival in Almaty
Upon arrival at Almaty International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will be holding a placard with your name for easy identification. After a warm greeting, you will be escorted to your private vehicle for a comfortable transfer to your hotel.
During the drive, your guide will brief you about the city, its cultural highlights, and what lies ahead in your itinerary.
Once at the hotel, you will be assisted with the check-in process. The rest of the day is free for you to relax after your journey. You may explore the hotel amenities or take a stroll in the nearby area to get acquainted with the city atmosphere. Overnight stay in Almaty
Day 2: Almaty City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, your guided city tour begins at 10:00 a.m. Your first stop is Panfilov Park, a peaceful green space named after the Panfilov Heroes. Here, you will also visit the impressive Zenkov Cathedral, a rare architectural marvel built entirely of wood without using nails. After lunch, continue to Republic Square, a symbolic site reflecting Kazakhstan’s independence, featuring the prominent Independence Monument and notable government buildings.
Next, visit the Central State Museum, where you will discover Kazakhstan’s rich history, cultural heritage, ethnic traditions, and archaeological treasures. Later in the evening, enjoy free time at Arbat Street, Almaty’s lively pedestrian zone filled with artistic displays, local vendors, sculptures, and cozy cafés.
After dinner, return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3 Shymbulak SKI RESORT & Medeu Tour
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. At 10:00 a.m., your driver/guide will pick you up for a scenic excursion to the mountains. Your first stop is Medeu, famous for having one of the highest altitude ice skating rinks in the world. Surrounded by majestic mountain landscapes, this area is perfect for photography and enjoying the crisp mountain air.
From Medeu, take the cable car ride up to Shymbulak Ski Resort. The journey offers breathtaking views of the snow-covered peaks and deep valleys. Upon arrival, you can explore Shymbulak at your own pace—relax at outdoor cafés, enjoy the alpine scenery, or take the second cable car to Talgar Pass at 3,200 meters for panoramic mountain views.
Depending on the season, you may also participate in activities such as skiing, snowboarding, or hiking.
Afterwards, an optional stop can be made at Dostyk Plaza, where you may shop, enjoy refreshments, or simply take a break. Following dinner, return to your hotel and spend the night in Almaty.
Day 4: Green Bazaar, Rahat Chocolate & Kok Tobe
After breakfast, begin your day by visiting the vibrant Green Bazaar, a traditional market offering fresh fruits, spices, nuts, dairy products, local delicacies, and handcrafted goods. This is an excellent spot to experience local culture and purchase souvenirs. Next, proceed to the famous Rahat Chocolate Factory outlet, where you can shop for high-quality Kazakh chocolates, candies, and sweet treats. After lunch, continue your journey to Kok Tobe Hill, one of Almaty’s most popular attractions. Reach the hilltop via a scenic cable car ride or by road. Once at the top, enjoy sweeping views of Almaty city, visit the observation deck, and explore the small entertainment zone featuring cafés, attractions, and unique photo spots.
After sightseeing, return to the city for dinner and make your way back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Issyk Lake Excursion
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for a memorable excursion to Issyk Lake, located about 70 km east of Almaty. Situated at an altitude of 1,760 meters in the Issyk Gorge of the Trans-Ili Alatau range, the lake is surrounded by dense forests, alpine meadows, and colorful flower fields. It was formed over 8,000 years ago due to a massive rock avalanche that naturally created a dam. Although the original settlement was destroyed by a mudflow in 1963, Issyk Lake remains one of the region’s most beautiful natural attractions. Spend time exploring the area, taking scenic walks, and capturing stunning photographs of the turquoise lake and surrounding landscapes.
After lunch, continue enjoying free time in the serene mountain environment before returning to Almaty.
Dinner will be arranged in the evening, followed by an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 6: Departure from Almaty
Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before checking out. A private transfer will be arranged to take you to the airport comfortably and on time for your return flight. Depart with wonderful memories of Almaty’s culture, landscapes, and hospitality
